Not happy!
The hotel itself was fine no complaints.
The road works and the noise was ridiculous, as early as 7am construction began and that meant minimal sleep. There is no way I want to be woken up to drilling and banging reconstruction works on holiday at that time of the morning and with no advance warning. I should have been given the respect and told of these works so I could find alternative accommodation as the noise was unbearable.

Beachside location and lovely pool and food. Recommend hiring a car to get around though.
Clean and well looked after building. All rooms have a minibar fridge and kettle. Breakfast every day has a huge range of hot and cold options and is excellent. Lovely locations in terms of right in the beach with a pool overlooking the beach. Worth paying the extra for a sea view room. We went at a fairly quiet time (end of Oct) so had loads of space and hardly anyone else at pool or restaurants. Could be quite cramped if full! Staff are really great and always willing to help.
I’d recommend hiring a car as although beachside location is great, it’s not that close to anything. Can walk along beach path to a couple of other restaurants and into little town for a coffee shop. Very little else anywhere around and Larnaca town is quite close but not much to really see or do there. We explored further afield with a hire car. At and food prices at hotel are a little hirer than local restaurants in town. Pool isn’t heated so be ready for it to be really cold in the off-season! Beach is NOT a pretty one but has loungers. There is a huge amount of work going on around beach and on road around and outside hotel to develop the area. Doesn’t really impact your stay and will make a huge difference but be aware it’s going on at the moment. Would be roadworks and noise directly outside and below windows of the hotel if not got a sea view room.

What was the highlight of Lebay Beach Hotel
Good
The staff was very nice, the place was good, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was decent too. There were not a lot of people in the hotel which was a plus, maybe it wasn't the season, but i did enjoy a quite tanning near the pool.
The beach was public and not good, though the hotel's name is "beach hotel." Construction on the roads right in front of the hotel made it difficult to move around. The rooms were not soundproof, but this was mentioned in the booking.com profile. It was far from the city and there was not much to do around.
